The Best Tokens for 2023

Shiba Inu (SHIB), Orbeon Protocol (ORBN), and Solana (SOL) have been selected as the best tokens for 2023.

We are increasingly more involved in a digital world, and cryptocurrencies have become a major force in the global economy. As such, many investors are looking for high-potential tokens to invest in, for maximum returns.

Several tokens could be candidates for the best token investment in 2023. However, after careful consideration, Shiba Inu (SHIB), Orbeon Protocol (ORBN), and Solana (SOL) have been selected as the best tokens for 2023, based on the massive profit potential, as well as their unique value propositions. Notably, ORBN has already seen a price increase of 805% during pre-sale, with no signs of slowing down.

Shiba Inu (SHIB)

With approximately 50% of the total Shiba Inu supply held by the team, the value of the token could continue to rise as there is limited selling pressure. Additionally, Shiba Inu is integrated with a range of DeFi protocols, to give users more options to leverage their investments.

Orbeon Protocol (ORBN)

ORBN, the project’s native token, has gained significant attention through the project’s pre-sale and also due to the utility it provides. In addition to its use as a transactional token, ORBN also provides holders with various benefits, such as transaction fee discounts, access to exclusive investor pools, and even project governance rights.

ORBN has already skyrocketed 805% in the first 3 stages of pre-sale, but it shows no signs of slowing down. Analysts predict that from its initial price of $0.004, ORBN could rise 6000% to $0.24.

Solana (SOL)

As of January 2022, Solana (SOL) was the 10th largest token by market cap and is currently trading at around $60 per unit. This makes Solana an excellent choice for long-term investors looking to capitalize on the potential of blockchain technology.

The Solana community is also proliferating as more developers join the network and build more apps on the platform. This indicates that Solana (SOL) could be one of the best tokens for 2023, with investors expected to reap great rewards.

In conclusion, SHIB offers a unique value proposition and the potential for great profits. ORBN is gaining ground among developers and businesses, and SOL is emerging as the blockchain of choice for developing applications. These three tokens are excellent options to invest in in 2023 and capture maximum returns.

However, please also note that these investments are speculative, and investors should always do their research before investing. Additionally, cryptocurrency prices can be very volatile, so it is important to use risk management strategies, such as stop-loss orders, when trading.

Peter Schiff Taunts Hodlers after MicroStrategy Sold 700 BTC

Bitcoin critic Peter Schiff’s Twitter warned of more pain in 2023 for bullish BTC hodlers.

Peter Schiff says 2023 will test the staying power of Bitcoin hodlers after Michael Saylor sells 700 BTC for tax relief.

Bitcoin critic and gold expert Peter Schiff mocked Bitcoin bulls about 2023 despite the cryptocurrency falling 65% in 2022.

Hodlers Stand Firm Despite Schiff Taunts

After raising a question about whether hodlers would sell if Bitcoin hit $5,000, Schiff then asked on Twitter how low the price would have to go before hodlers admitted they were wrong about Bitcoin:

“If crypto investors think 2022 was a bad year, wait until they get a load of 2023. Despite this year’s 65% collapse, the faithful remain optimistic that Bitcoin will soon moon to new highs. I wonder if a 2023 Bitcoin plunge below $5K will be enough to shake hodler confidence.”

Most said they would hold Bitcoin even if it hit zero, while almost 10% would sell it at $5,000. Interestingly, almost a fifth said they would sell if it went below $1,000. The rest established the mark of less than 10,000 dollars as a cut-off point.

Several cryptocurrency business collapses and grim macroeconomic conditions have seen Bitcoin drop three-quarters from its peak of around $69,000 on Nov. 30, 2022.

Investors seeking to de-risk their portfolios amid rising inflation created selling pressure for Bitcoin, prompting it to trail shares. and other downside risk assets.

Saylor Reaffirms MicroStrategy Bet

The bear market, which some have predicted that may turn into a full-blown recession, has not dampened MicroStrategy’s enthusiasm for hodling.

The company bought back the dip, adding 2,395 BTC to its balance sheet on December 22, 2022.

In a recent Twitter Spaces roundtable, MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor said technocratic Bitcoin investors expect returns from the macro environment over five to 10 years.

Rather, he added that MicroStrategy belongs to a group of maximalists who view Bitcoin as “good for the human race” and whose long-term investments are aimed at furthering Bitcoin adoption.

It is somewhat ironic then that the company sold 704 BTC in December 2022 for roughly $12 million, only to quickly buy up 810 BTC a few days later.

While sticking to his maximalist philosophy, Saylor conceded that the sale of Bitcoin introduces a capital loss that can offset the capital gains tax levied on MicroStrategy’s enterprise software business.

However, the sale is at odds with Saylor’s promise in a January 2022 Bloomberg interview. Speaking at Bloomberg Studio 1.0, he was asked if MicroStrategy would sell its Bitcoin during a prolonged bear market.

“Never. No. We are not sellers,” he said. “We are just acquiring and holding BTC, right? That is our strategy.”

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the pressure of rising interest rates in 2022 will put pressure on its share price, which is already down 74% so far this year.

Additionally, the company’s labor costs could rise significantly as it builds software to bring Bitcoin’s Lightning Network to the masses.

Cardano (ADA): Risk-Averse Traders Can Secure Profits at this Level

ADA was on a price rally and could retest the previous support turned resistance at $0.2531. A drop below $0.2397 would invalidate the bullish forecast.

Cardano is a third-generation Blockchain network created to solve problems of the bitcoin and Ethereum network. In fact, it is known as one of the networks capable of replacing the Ethereum network.

As for the platform itself, it can be said that it is open source and offers great scalability and security thanks to the way it is built. Broadly speaking, it offers a unique platform within the cryptocurrency system.

Cardano (ADA) traded within a range in late November 2022, before trending down in December 2022. However, ADA bulls found stable support at $0.2441 and used it to initiate a rally.

At the time of collecting this data, ADA was trading at $0.2472, up 1.9% in the last 24 hours. If the bulls keep up the momentum, ADA could retest or break above the previous support level of $0.2472.

Cardano Resistance at $0.2531: Can the Bulls Retest It?

ADA’s decline from its mid-December trading range of $0.2531 to $0.2652 was held in check by support at $0.2441. If the bullish momentum strengthens, the rally could reach or retest the previous lower bound and support at $0.2531.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has pulled back from oversold territory, indicating increased buying pressure. Also, the Money Flow Index (MFI) showed a rally, indicating a massive accumulation of ADA coins due to their reduced prices.

The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) recovered from the zero line and rose above the zero mark. This demonstrated that the buyers had an increasing influence in the market.

If buying pressure builds, ADA could go higher and retest the $0.2531 level. Risk-averse investors can profit at this point. A move above the previous trading range could be contingent on strongly bullish Bitcoin.

However, a break below $0.2397 would undo the previous bullish forecast. Such a downtrend could see ADA settle at $0.2298.

ADA Saw Better Demand in the Derivatives Market

According to Santiment, the demand for ADA in the futures market decreased in mid-October, early November, and mid-December 2022.

Currently, demand improved as Binance funding rates pulled back from negative territory and jumped into positive territory.

There was also a slight improvement in weighted sentiment, suggesting that the investor outlook for the asset has improved. Could demand in the derivatives market and improving investor confidence fuel the uptrend?

Nevertheless, investors should keep an eye on the performance of BTC prices to assess the movement of ADA.

It is important to remember that although Cardano’s technology is unique and advanced, there is also a risk that it may not finally take hold and its network will not be used by users.

Uniswap [UNI] Defends $4.95, Bulls Are Slowly Losing Ground

Bulls have successfully defended Uniswap’s $4.95 support level. However, long-term investors will have to wait a while before making their next move.

Uniswap [UNI] did not have a bullish bias. The bulls had bravely defended the $5 support level. It was also a significant level from a psychological perspective.

Since the sellers had the upper hand, traders could look for opportunities to follow the broader trend. A move higher in the $5.3 region could offer such an opportunity.

A Bearish H12 Breakout Impedes Progress and Buying Pressure Is Easing as Well

The market structure on the 12-hour chart was firmly bearish for Uniswap. This proved that traders can look for short-selling opportunities. The last 10 days have seen low trading volume, but the On Balance Volume (OBV) showed that even then, sellers were the dominant force.

The OBV had formed lower highs in the past three weeks. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) was also moving below the neutral 50 mark, to show bearish conditions. However, with the RSI threatening to make higher highs, with the price making lower highs since December 19, a bearish divergence could develop in the coming days.

This would reinforce the bearish pressure behind UNI. It was already trading below the 12-hour bearish limit in the region of $5.26-$5.43.

A retest of this area could offer a nice risk-reward shorting opportunity. Meanwhile, a session close above $5.43 would indicate that the bulls may push toward the $5.82-$5.88 area.

The Fibonacci retracement levels showed that until the $6.6 level was broken, the trend of the higher time frame would remain bearish. However, this does not rule out minor moves upward. Long-term buyers can wait for a move back above $6.6, before testing the market once more.

Median Age of Coin and MVRV Ratio Are Hit to Highlight the Strength of Sellers

Data from Santiment showed that Uniswap’s network growth was muted over the holiday season. However, it remained above the growth observed in October. The drop in the 30-day Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio meant shorter-term holders profited at the $6.3 mark. The asset was undervalued, according to the MVRV metric, but it does not guarantee a buy signal by itself.

The coin’s median age of 90 days also plunged during the selloff in early December. This described a burst of token movement between addresses and could be due to seller activity. In recent days, although the metric has risen, it did not show a consistent upward trend at press time. Accumulation in the next week or two could precede a price rally.

Could the NFT Market be in the Top Position for a Q1 2023 Revival?

The NFT market would need a recovery in the price of cryptocurrencies to sustain a revival in 2023.

If you were of the view that the NFT market year would end in a change, then that might not be too far from the truth. Despite a rally on the horizon, investors should definitely not expect a general recovery. However, a recent trade in a blue-chip Ethereum [ETH] collection could set things in motion.

Wu Blockchain tweeted that “CryptoPunk #2066 sold for 1155 ETH (approximately $1.38 million) today. This NFT is one of 88 Zombie Punks. Azuki #2311 was purchased by togekiss.eth (0x5c…cd3d) for 175 ETH (approximately $210,000).”

Details of the transaction showed that the same collector had numerous offers through December 28, although he refused to release the asset.

A Shot is Sometimes a Goal

Trading contributed to the way Crypto Punks displaced other collections at the top of market sales volume. In 2021, the collection was a top three across all chains, with hundreds of millions of dollars in sales.

Performance fueled the same momentum in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022. Unfortunately, the fall in cryptocurrency prices and a series of uneventful incidents led to a massive decline in price floors and trader interest.

According to CryptoSlam, Crypto Punks recorded a 154% increase in sales in the last 24 hours. These exchanges totaled $2.60 million, involving 11 sellers and buyers in 15 transactions.

Mutant Ape Yacht Club, owned by Yuga Labs [MAYC], and Bored Ape Yacht Club [BAYC] came second and third, respectively. While MAYC posted an increase like Crypto Punks, the more famous BAYC chose a decrease in volume.

Interestingly, Ethereum NFT performed well in December 2022. At the time of writing, the NFT sales information provider reported that sales under the Ethereum blockchain reached $535 million in the last 30 days.

However, the last 24 hours did not produce a similar performance as sales fell 5.41%. That being said, trending meant that the market remained oblivious to a specific direction.

Solana NFT: Where are you headed?

For Solana [SOL] NFTs, the cryptocurrency market crash, coupled with a break in its chain, spared it from a quick recovery in Q1. Sometime in 2022, Solana’s NFTs surpassed Ethereum’s. Later, though, the table had turned.

The dismal performance of SOL dripping at $9 and a drop to 17 in the market cap rankings also contributed to the same. However, traders who prefer the proof-of-history Blockchain may need to keep their hopes up.

At press time, sales were down to $3.37 million in the past 24 hours, though there was a noticeable improvement in buy and sell engagement.

Shiba Inu’s Great Prediction for 2023

A change in market trends could increase the price of Shiba Inu in 2023.

Shiba Inu coin was probably the biggest sensation of 2021. As the second major meme coin after Dogecoin, it was able to establish itself as one of the largest cryptocurrencies on the market with massive rallies. However, in 2022, the price was mostly low.

For most of 2022, there was a steeper drop in the Shiba Inu price. Due to the bear market, the value of the meme coin has declined almost continuously for the past 12 months after peaking in 2021. Losses in the first half of 2022 were particularly severe.

After these massive losses in the first half of the year, the price decline leveled off a bit in the second half of 2022. In early November, the SHIB price rose from $0.00001 to $0.000013. There has been a slight and steady drop in price over the last few weeks. Most recently, the SHIB price was around $0.000008.

Why Shiba Inu Coin Experienced Such Huge Losses?

Shiba Inu coin has lost a lot of value in the last 12 months. As a meme coin, the losses were particularly severe during this period. That is the nature of this type of currency. In a bear market, of course, losses are special. Especially after such strong hype like 2021, it was to be expected that the SHIB price would crash.

Unlike Dogecoin, Shiba Inu coin also did not benefit as much from the altcoin rally in early November and the acquisition of Elon Musk. As a result, Shiba Inu only fell to 15th place among cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.

What is the Shiba Inu Forecast for 2023?

In the coming months, another change of trend in the market will be seen. Bitcoin also rose massively in the first 6 months in the second year of the last bear market, in 2019. If such a development repeats itself, a sharp rise in meme coins like Shiba Inu could be seen again.

It will be interesting to see how the SHIB can continue to establish itself in the bear market. Dogecoin has already had a bear market and is therefore much more established.

There was a risk that Shiba Inu would disappear into the darkness; however, this assumption was refuted despite heavy losses. A turnaround in the market should also allow the Shiba Inu price to rise again in 2023, improving the forecast.

An increase in the Shiba Inu price seems very likely if the crypto market picks up slightly next year. If Bitcoin could triple again in the next few months, then a meme coin like the Shiba Inu coin could also massively increase up to 5x in value.

An investment in the Shiba Inu coin could pay off in the coming weeks and months, as the forecast shows. But care should be taken, as the meme coin is considered to be extremely volatile. Moreover, Shiba Inu has not yet gone through a full bear market and no historical data exists.
