VC Spectra (SPCT) Successful Presale Captures Attention of Ethereum and Shiba Inu Communities

Here are the latest trends in the cryptocurrency market, including the growth of VC Spectra (SPCT) and changes in Ethereum (ETH) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

The cryptocurrency market has experienced high volatility, with multiple events generating large movements in the market. Ethereum (ETH) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) have posted gains in recent weeks, attracting numerous investors looking for profitable opportunities.

However, none of these assets rival the gains made by VC Spectra (SPCT), which has become the shining star of the crypto universe after its price surged 37.5% from $0.008 to $0.011.

Big Ethereum Investors Waiting

In June, a large Ethereum (ETH) investor withdrew a staggering 50,100 ETH, equivalent to $91.2 million, from his Binance wallet. Notably, this same investor had previously withdrawn another 8,500 Ethereum (ETH) on June 8, while staking an additional 34,560 Ethereum (ETH).

These large investor withdrawals from Ethereum (ETH) caused a notable drop in the market between June 28 and July 2. Against this background, the failure of Ethereum (ETH) to sustainably break above the $2,000 level has come under scrutiny.

One major factor identified is the current sell-off or ‘greed’ sentiment in the crypto space, as shown by the Fear and Greed Index. Although Ethereum (ETH) has historically been preferred by large crypto investors, VC Spectra (SPCT) is now expected to rise in earnings.

Ethereum (ETH) is currently trading at $1,870, down 0.82% in the past week. Analysts expect it to recover slightly to reach $1,885 in August.

Investor Interest in Shiba Inu Wanes While Waiting for Layer-2 Blockchain

Pending the release of Shibarium, the Shiba Inu (SHIB) ecosystem faces a persistent decline in its market price. On January 15, 2023, Shiba Inu (SHIB) confirmed his ambitious plans to create a new layer 2 Blockchain solution, with the goal of moving from a simple meme coin to a fully functional utility coin.

As of July 26, the Shiba Inu Community (SHIB) was still eagerly awaiting the release of Shibarium. However, due to the delayed launch, investors are slowly losing interest in trading Shiba Inu tokens (SHIB). In the last 24 hours, Shiba Inu (SHIB) has lost 1.05%, with the token price sitting at $0.000007838 on July 23. Experts believe that Shiba Inu (SHIB) will fall further to $0.000007658 in August.

VC Spectra (SPCT) Has Grabbed the Investment Spotlight

VC Spectra (SPCT) is described as an advanced decentralized asset management protocol and trading platform. The aim of VC Spectra (SPCT) is to provide investors with a secure, transparent and highly profitable investment experience within the Blockchain and technology sector.

The VC Spectra Token (SPCT) is compliant with the BRC-20 standard and functions as the currency for exchange, decentralized trading, asset management, and transaction fees on the VC Spectra platform.

VC Spectra (SPCT) is currently in stage 2 of its public pre-sale, valued at $0.011 per token, an increase of 37.5% from its initial stage 1 price of $0.008. Investors who buy SPCT in stage 2 of the pre-sale will receive a 25% bonus on their deposits. Furthermore, they will earn a massive 627% profit when the value of VC Spectra (SPCT) tokens reaches $0.08 at the end of the pre-sale.

In the upcoming stage 3 of the pre-sale, the price of VC Spectra (SPCT) is expected to rise to $0.025, which is a 127.27% profit on its current value.

Crypto Founder Charles Hoskinson Explains Decision Not to Maintain Public Crypto Addresses

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, does not hold public crypto addresses to protect against potential risks of unauthorized transfers and regulatory challenges. He prefers contingent settlement as an alternative approach, sparking speculation about innovative applications within the Cardano Blockchain or other projects.

Departing from the norm among prominent figures in the cryptocurrency space, Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, has revealed that he does not maintain public crypto addresses. This startling revelation has drawn attention and raised questions from the community. Hoskinson provided a detailed explanation of his decision via Twitter, citing security concerns as the main motivation for keeping his addresses private.

Safety Concerns Drive Hoskinson’s Decision

As a well-known figure in the world of Blockchain and cryptocurrency, Charles Hoskinson’s decision to refrain from keeping public crypto addresses may seem unusual at first. However, their reasoning revolves around security and the potential risks associated with open addresses.

Hoskinson raised concerns about unwanted funds being sent to their public addresses from individuals or entities located in sanctioned countries without their consent. In addition, it raised the possibility that enthusiastic senders might attempt to transfer money through restricted channels, such as Tornado Cash, which could lead to their addresses being blacklisted by authorities.

By opting for private profiles, Hoskinson seeks to safeguard his assets and protect himself from potential legal and regulatory complications. While this approach may differ from the practices of other crypto leaders, it underscores the growing importance of security and privacy measures in the cryptocurrency industry.

Contingent Liquidation as an Alternative

Elaborating on his decision, Charles Hoskinson revealed that the challenges associated with maintaining public wallets were a major factor in his preference for the contingent liquidation concept. By employing contingent settlement, Hoskinson is able to exercise greater control over the flow of funds and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

The mention of contingent settlement has aroused curiosity among the crypto community, leading to speculation about possible plans for its implementation. Some wonder if Hoskinson may be exploring innovative ways to leverage this approach within Cardano or other projects he might be involved with. As the crypto space continues to evolve, these unconventional strategies could lead to exciting developments in the industry.

Benefits and Controversies around Public Addresses

Many leaders in the digital currency ecosystem maintain public addresses, which are commonly used for various purposes. Projects, particularly memecoins that seek community trust, often send a portion of their tokens to the addresses of influential figures within the ecosystem. Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, is one such person who has benefited from this practice, receiving significant token allocations during the height of bull markets.

However, the use of public addresses can also be controversial, as it raises questions about transparency and potential conflicts of interest. Some community members may question the motivation behind such token assignments and worry about the influence it may have on the recipient’s actions and decisions.

To sum up, Charles Hoskinson’s decision to refrain from maintaining public crypto addresses has shed light on the importance of security and privacy in the cryptocurrency space.

As the crypto industry continues to evolve, innovative strategies like these could shape the future landscape of Blockchain technology and its applications. However, the use of public addresses remains a matter of debate, with benefits and controversy surrounding their use among influential figures in the digital currency ecosystem.

Asset Managers Embrace Tokenization as Web3 Investment Falls

Interest in asset tokenization is high and some of the world’s largest asset managers have embraced it. With the adoption of tokenized funds by the likes of Franklin Templeton, Blockchains promise to transform financial markets. However, just when it looks like tokenized assets will go mainstream, funding for Blockchain startups has plummeted.

Tokenization has the potential to revolutionize asset management, with several leading companies investigating Blockchain’s ability to digitize various asset classes.

However, with digital asset management appearing poised for mainstream adoption, the momentum in investment in Blockchain development appears to be waning.

Franklin Templeton’s Bold Foray into Digital Backgrounds

Tokenization involves the issuance of digital tokens to represent various assets. With Blockchain technology, assets such as securities, real estate, and art can be digitized, offering a more seamless and transparent trading environment.

Franklin Templeton has been a pioneer in this space. After successfully launching the Franklin OnChain US Government Money Fund (FOBXX) on the Stellar Blockchain, they extended their operations to the Polygon Network.

Currently, the cumulative value of US money market tokenized funds is an impressive $660 million, with FOBXX holding the lion’s share with a market capitalization of $294 million. However, the competition is heating up.

WisdomTree: A New Competitor on the Horizon

Seeking to gain a foothold in asset tokenization, WisdomTree launched several digital funds through its WisdomTree Prime platform this year.

By leveraging the Stellar and Ethereum Blockchains, WisdomTree offered alternatives to Franklin Templeton’s offerings and introduced index funds that track major US corporations.

During an earnings’ call, Jonathan Steinberg, CEO of WisdomTree, recently highlighted the company’s tokenization efforts, emphasizing WisdomTree’s early-bird advantage in this domain.

BlackRock’s Imminent Entry into Digital Asset Management

BlackRock, the global asset management giant, could soon plunge into the waters of tokenization.

Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, has consistently highlighted the transformative potential of Blockchain. It has underlined its promise to improve market efficiency and profitability for investors.

BlackRock has not formally stated any tokenization strategy. However, the firm has partnered with Jio Financial Services to design a “digital first” asset management platform for India. It also filed for a Bitcoin ETF with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, suggesting an upcoming digital transition.

A Paradox: Reduced Venture Capital on Blockchain

Surprisingly, VC funding in the cryptocurrency sector appears to be cooling off even as asset management heats up with Blockchain.

Sequoia Capital recently cut its cryptocurrency venture fund from $585 million to just $200 million, while cutting its cryptocurrency ecosystem fund in half at the same time.

RootData data reveals a marked drop in VC funding for cryptocurrency startups over the past year. From a peak of $12.6 billion in the first quarter of 2022, venture capital investments have slowed to just $2.14 billion in the second quarter of 2023.

The significant decline spans all Blockchain-focused companies, from DeFi and GameFi to NFTs and infrastructure.

The Domino Effect: Cryptocurrency Exchanges Get the Worst Blow

The funds freeze has notably affected cryptocurrency exchanges. Bitkub’s valuation in Thailand plummeted from a peak of almost $1 billion to $184 million.

Many analysts link Sequoia’s spending cuts to its holdings in the now-defunct cryptocurrency exchange FTX. The fallout from the FTX crash continues to deter investors, clouding the future of the industry.

While tokenization presents a promising future for asset management, the broader Blockchain and crypto sectors face challenges, especially when it comes to investments and valuations.

When Will Mass Adoption of Bitcoin Come? Samson Mow Has the Answer

Analysis of hyperbitcoinization according to Samson Mow, exploring the future adoption of Bitcoin and its impact on the global economy.

In the dynamic world of cryptocurrencies, the predictions and analysis by influential figures can have a significant impact on the perception and adoption of certain currencies. Recently, Samson Mow, a prominent figure in the cryptocurrency space, posted a tweet that has generated a lot of interest and discussion.

In his post, Mow offers an intriguing glimpse into the future of Bitcoin, suggesting a path to “hyperbitcoinization.” Below, the Mow tweet is analyzed, as well as its meaning and the implications it could have for the future of Bitcoin and the global economy.

Bitcoin Adoption Wave in the Next Five Years

According to Samson Mow, in the next five years, there will be a wave of Bitcoin adoption, due to the growing acceptance of Bitcoin as a viable alternative to traditional currencies. Bitcoin adoption is being driven by its growing popularity, its ease of use, and its potential to offer decentralized finance solutions.

Hyperbitcoinization: A Future of Bitcoin in 10 Years

Mow predicts that ten years from now, hyperbitcoinization will be seen. This term refers to a future in which Bitcoin becomes the dominant currency, replacing traditional fiat currencies. Hyperbitcoinization is not just a possibility, but an expectation based on the current trajectory of Bitcoin and its increasing adoption around the world.

In the same line of thought is Balaji Srinivasan, former CTO of Coinbase, former partner of the Andreessen Horowitz venture capital fund, investor, co-founder of several companies, and PhD in engineering from Stanford.

This expert has predicted that the world will rename bitcoin as “digital gold”, and that nations, companies and individuals will begin to acquire it in large quantities, which will generate an appreciation of its value that can reach 3,600%.

It seems that according to the hyperbitcoinization narrative, everyone will willingly adopt Bitcoin as long as the benefits of such adoption become known. We will all use Bitcoin as money. This supposed “hyperbitcoinization” means the separation of the economy and the State.

In other words, we will have a kind of libertarian utopia operating on a Bitcoin standard. In other words, a better world. By adopting this “citizen money”, of limited supply, and regulated by the free market, the citizens of planet Earth would finally have a nation-free monetary system

Impact of Hyperbitcoinization on the Global Economy

Hyperbitcoinization will have a significant impact on the global economy. By replacing fiat currencies, Bitcoin could alter the way transactions are made, money is saved, and economic policies are managed. Although this change can be challenging, it also offers the opportunity to create a more equitable and decentralized financial system.

There are those who argue that Bitcoin is, and will continue to be, a deflationary currency; therefore, the use of Bitcoin will tend to cause constant pockets of economic and social instability, this being an unsustainable state and in search of change, ergo, the hyperbitcoinized world would be unstable and would tend to disappear.

In this sense, one of the most celebrated benefits of Bitcoin (the ability to buy more tomorrow with less) would end up being a destabilizing element, so the hyperbitcoinized world would cease to exist.

SEC Sues Another Crypto Firm

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed charges against Quantstamp for conducting an unregistered Initial Coin Offering (ICO). The SEC claims that the company raised more than $28 million from the sale of its QSP token to approximately 5,000 investors.

The SEC order describes how the Quantstamp ICO, which took place in October and November 2017, raised more than $28 million by selling its native QSP tokens to some 5,000 investors.

The SEC order also notes that Quantstamp no longer operates or actively supports automated security auditing of smart contracts after its rollout in June 2019.

Quantstamp had planned to use the proceeds from the ICO to develop a protocol on the Ethereum network that would provide automated security audits of Smart Contracts.

What are FUD and FOMO in the World of Cryptocurrencies? Some Examples

FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) is the fear of missing something or being left out of something that others are taking advantage of. With the FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt), commercial or political strategies are qualified to disseminate negative or biased information which aims to harm a competitor.

Making the right investment decisions in the cryptocurrency market can be hampered by many factors, including FUD and FOMO.

These two terms are firmly entrenched in the lexicon of crypto industry representatives. We tell you what FUD and FOMO are, why they are dangerous and how to determine them.

What is FUD?

FUD is a psychological manipulation tactic used to promote something on the market. For example, marketers are faced with the task of promoting a project. To do this, they use FUD to smear their potential competitors.

The ability to identify FUD is down to a science. For starters, it is important to note that tweets and other messages from anonymous people aren’t always worth trusting. Rumors that have no evidence base remain unconfirmed, which means there is no need to blindly follow them.

Examples of FUD in the Cryptocurrency World

In June 2023, rumors began spreading on Twitter that the largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance and its founder Changpeng Zhao were selling their Bitcoin reserves to back the trading platform’s native token, BNB.

Changpeng Zhao was quick to dismiss the rumors, calling the incident FUD. The rumor that the market’s largest cryptocurrency exchange and its founder are selling BTC could be taken as evidence of Binance and Zhao’s doubts about Bitcoin’s potential for further growth. Therefore, the news could shake investor confidence in Bitcoin’s potential. Its logical result is the sale of cryptocurrencies.

Such FUD could be beneficial for market participants who wanted to discredit Binance and buy BTC at a better price. Zhao himself often, in response to requests to clarify this or that news, limits himself to the number 4 – a reference to a paragraph of his code.

What is FOMO?

FOMO stands for Loss of Profit Syndrome. The term is an acronym for the English words “Fear Of Missing Out” (fear of missing something). The word FOMO in trading refers to market participants’ fear of missing out on possible price increases.

Loss of profit syndrome often pushes representatives of the cryptocurrency industry to make ill-considered decisions, for example, to buy a coin during its active growth, which can turn into a correction at any time.

This syndrome often acts as a factor that drives the price of cryptocurrency to unreasonably high levels. The stronger the FOMO “fire”, the more unreasonably high the cost of the coin can be, and the faster it will fall in the future.

Example of FOMO in Trading

FOMO in cryptocurrency can be tracked, for example, using the Bitcoin Rainbow Chart, which helps determine the fairness of the cryptocurrency price over a given period of time.

In 2021, Bitcoin, followed by the entire cryptocurrency market, went through two FOMOs. The first was at the end of March – beginning of April. The growth was preceded by news about Tesla’s $1.5 billion investment in Bitcoin, as well as the launch of the sale of electric cars for cryptocurrency.

The subsequent FOMO was recorded against the backdrop of the recovery of the cryptocurrency mining market following the completion of the migration of miners from China.
