Colombian citizens were affected by an alleged scam on a trading platform. The complaints ensure that Solain does not allow them to withdraw their money.

A group of citizens from Salento, Quindio, were allegedly affected by investing in a platform called Solain. According to the complaints, the company initially promised a return ranging from 2% to 3% daily. However, everything resulted in a scam on the trading platform because those affected did not receive what was promised.

Trading Platform Scam: Users Can’t Withdraw Their Money

The RedMás Noticias media outlet reported that in Salento, Quindio, a group of more than 2,000 people decided to invest their money in Solain. The foregoing after receiving information from said trading platform, which promised great performance among those who deposited their money there.

Despite the fact that in the first six months some of those who invested received juicy profits, people have not received the money from their investment for almost a week.

Currently, users are speculating that the platform delivered some returns at the start to encourage investment. However, Solain promised that they would receive the resources on July 1st, but no one has received that money yet. The most recent information points out that the platform would be requesting the investment of more money, so that people can withdraw their savings. The abovementioned shows that Solain’s model would be closer to that of a pyramid than to that of a trading platform.

What Does Solain Say about It?

Upon accessing the Solain website, it is possible to find a message that tells users about a new condition. The company ensures that to allow more members enough time to activate their accounts, they will extend the activation deadline from July 5 to July 10 at 23:59.

To the above, the company requests users to complete the recharge in accordance with the minimum conditions for activation of the account balance. It also asks them to complete real name verification, link their account with their smartphone, change the withdrawal password, and wait for the account to be activated with its features.

Users will have to wait to find out for sure if this information is true, or if it is a smokescreen and their savings are in danger.
