CoinFlip will install four cryptocurrency ATMs in Puerto Rico and plans to expand in the coming months.

CoinFlip, the cryptocurrency ATM company, announced its landing in Puerto Rico, as part of its expansion strategy in Latin America. It will install four ATMs in the country and plans to expand in the coming months.

Data from CoinATMRadar show that until December 2022, Puerto Rico had 31 cryptocurrency ATMs: 24 in San Juan, in Mayagüez, and Ponce there are two in each, while Rincón, Cabo Roko, and Isabela have one (each). Most provide support for Bitcoin, Lightning BTC, Bitcoin Cash, Ether, Dash, Litecoin, Zcash, Monero, Dogecoin, Tether, and Ripple.

Arrival in Puerto Rico Details

The announcement via Twitter reads as follows:

The company emphasized the following:

The company has plans to expand in the area with additional locations to be announced in the coming months.”

The four CoinFlip cryptocurrency ATMs in Puerto Rico will be located at:

Gulf: 18-20 C. Georgetti, Caguas, 00725, Puerto Rico.

TotalEnergies: Bayamón Centro, Ramon Luis Rivera AVE Carretera 167, PR-2, Bayamón, Bayamón, 00959, Puerto Rico.

CoinFlip is one of several companies with Bitcoin ATMs installed in Puerto Rico. On the other hand, Bitcoin has another six ATMs for the purchase of BTC and other cryptocurrencies.
