Bitget partners with world champion soccer player Lionel Messi to launch Blockchain4Youth, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) educational project.

Leading crypto derivatives and copy trading platform Bitget has announced its collaboration with world champion soccer player Lionel Messi for the launch of Blockchain4Youth.

The new project is corporate social responsibility (or CSR) and aims to create a future based on Blockchain, inspiring young people to adopt Web3 and cryptographic tools, to create a decentralized space.

On that, the CEO of the famous cryptocurrency exchange commented on the partnership with Messi and the project as follows:

Bitget and Messi are a perfect couple on and off the pitch. As the Leo Messi Foundation advocates for children and adolescents in vulnerable situations, Bitget aims to uplift today’s youth with invaluable knowledge about Blockchain and Web3 information, ensuring a future where the world is connected to Blockchain.

Bitget’s study shows that ongoing demographic changes will have a significant impact on cryptocurrency adoption and that teens are struggling to systematically understand this ever-changing world.

In light of this, Bitget intends to leverage its global reach and initiate meaningful projects to empower the younger generations. Messi is a role model, with his dedication and passion for football. We take this inspiration as something to instill in today’s youth with the Blockchain4Youth project.”

The CSR project will kick off this month with a series of lectures on the campuses of top universities in Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, as well as in other regions currently in the planning stages. Bitget also reveals that it is open to potential partners who want to join Blockchain4Youth.

Bitget with Lionel Messi: What is the Blockchain4Youth Educational Project About?

The main objective of the new project signed Bitget in collaboration with Lionel Messi, is to inspire more people to adopt cryptography. Blockchain4Youth will trust the younger generation to promote these ideas, helping them become proactive leaders.

A recent Bitget study highlights how Millennials and Gen Z representatives are the main force behind developing an age-friendly future, with the former comprising 46% of cryptocurrency enthusiasts. To support youth and encourage their involvement in Blockchain technology, Bitget is taking a 360-degree approach and plans to invest $10 million in the initiative over the next 5 years.

The initial phase of Blockchain4Youth involves offering Blockchain courses and certifications through Bitget Academy, as well as hosting campus conferences in partnership with renowned universities from around the world. Not only that, in the coming months, Bitget also plans to introduce scholarships to provide financial assistance to young Blockchain enthusiasts.

Among other objectives, then, the platform plans to collaborate with other leading companies in the Blockchain sector to incubate innovative projects of young entrepreneurs, as well as to organize U30 hackathons (under 30 years of age), aiming at identifying the most promising ones.

Marketing Campaigns with the Famous Soccer Player

It should be noted that it is not the first time that Bitget has chosen the famous footballer for its winning associations, since at the end of November 2022, a series of marketing campaigns in collaboration with Lionel Messi had been announced. The aim of the platform to join Messi has been to further attract its customers.
