The star of the iconic nineties series Baywatch has also announced plenty of possibilities of launching NFT on the cryptocurrency social network BitClout.

Pamela Anderson is a familiar face for those who were born more than 30 years ago. The emblematic series of the 90s, Baywatch served as a skyrocket for her career.

The stunning blonde Pamela Anderson is now running a giveaway on the BitClout social network. She gives away three signed physical copies of the latest Playboy cover to her creator coins’ biggest owners.

She said the copies would go to the top three holders of her creation coin, each has its BitClout currency that can go up or down in value, and the winners will appear on March 31. Anderson also hinted that she could deliver NFT to all of her coin holders.

What is BitClout’s Purpose?

BitClout is a social network that creates cryptocurrencies linked to the identities of individuals on social networks. Everyone on Twitter can claim an account on that network, where they have their own “creative” currency.

The project generated several coins that connect to influential Twitter figures, in many cases without getting their permission. Those influencers could claim a share of those coins by joining the network, although they have to pay $ 60 in Bitcoin.

The value of each person’s currency goes based on how many people buy and sell their money. This increase is not balanced, Decrypt says, but is on a union curve, which means that a currency can be more and more expensive the more people purchase it.

But there is a significant struggle. At the moment, money can only enter the social network. It cannot go out. So if a user spends Bitcoin to buy BitClout tokens, which can serve to purchase coins from creators, they would not currently be able to sell their BitClout again for Bitcoin.

The medium adheres that although the social network is an anonymous team’s hands, it also receives back up from a more significant number of Silicon Valley VCs, such as Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase Ventures, and even Winklevoss Capital.

Decrypt media tells that Anderson’s decision to join BitClout is very striking given that on January 26, the actress left all social networks: Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. In this regard, she said the valid reason behind her departure from the internet is that she wanted to focus on reading and connecting with nature. Anderson also claimed that those sites are just a waste of time and take control of your brain.

On March 27, it became verified on BitClout. Anderson highlighted the importance of decentralization. Although BitClout gets centralized for the time being, the project plans to decentralize over time. Bitclout currently allows users to complete transactions with diverse cryptocurrencies, including several of their own and Bitcoin.

Anderson recently began to endorse BitClout herself, encouraging others to join it and expressing support for the release of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange before announcing the giveaway’s details.
