Salinas Pliego described inflation as a tax that damages the people with needs. The bitcoin enthusiast said excessive regulation obstructs Improvements.

The Mexican businessman, Ricardo Salinas Pliego, attacks the central banks and their directors. He openly expressed that Christine Lagarde, from the European Central Bank, is a fraudster, a thief. He just had to talk about it because, under her leadership, the acquisition capacity was getting confiscated from the Europeans.

He calls those entities “fraudsters” because he has generated twice as much money as the funds in circulation in the last two years. The businessman adds that the US official is stealing their money from the gringos.

The words of the founder of the business conglomerate, Grupo Salinas, appeared in an interview days ago with the content creator Roberto Martínez Osuna. The conversation got revealed via the YouTube channel “Roberto MTZ.”

The words regarding the central bankers got said by Salinas Pliego after reflecting on inflation rates and their consequences on markets worldwide. Like others familiar with the matter, he refers to inflation as a disguised tax and explains that the inflation tax is a dreadful tax.

He sustained that it is tough to realize this taxation mode’s perverse. In addition, it harms those who need more financial stability; those who get most ruined by the inflationary tax are pensioners.

Also, Salinas Pliego explains that inflation benefits those who owe money because the debt is getting smaller and smaller. He adds that those who manufacture fake money are the people working for the current administrations in their respective countries.

These Attacks are not New

It is not the first time Salinas Pliego openly talks about Central Bankers. In July of last year, he highlighted that government people don’t sympathize with bitcoin because people can get out of their fiat trap. After all, that’s what fiat money is: a big fraud.

Almost a year later, he appears to think the same still. In a recent interview with Martínez Osuna, the businessman described bitcoin as “the new digital gold.” He also said it is incomparable with other digital assets that he described as crap.

Central Bank Digital Currencies are the Worst Idea

After expressing his thoughts about bitcoin, Salinas Pliego changed the talk course toward central bank digital currencies (or CBDC, for its acronym in English).

These CBDCs are digital representations of existing fiat money. The CBDCs already created work through centralized databases held by the State and do not give the usual privacy cryptocurrencies offer when it comes to transactions.

The Mexican chairman says it is a horrible idea and adds he hopes no one accepts them under any circumstances because, once people take them, the government can know how much each person has in their wallet.
