Nakamoto would enter Forbes’ billionaire’s list and surpass Michael Bloomberg with a net worth of more than $ 65.5 billion.

Users and other enthusiasts do not need to feel familiar with his ID and even his face. Most people know that Satoshi Nakamoto is the wealthiest billionaire in the crypto space.

Last week, Forbes magazine posted its famous 2021 Billionaires List, an annual ranking of the net worth of the world’s wealthiest entrepreneurs. Based on that list, Forbes is selecting and publishing the top 12 leaders of the cryptocurrency industry with the most prosperous fortunes.

However, despite having a fortune of more than 60 billion dollars, the creator of Bitcoin did not rank in the Forbes list. With the price of cryptocurrency reaching new heights and following data suggesting a net worth of more than 1 million bitcoins, Satoshi Nakamoto would today be one of the wealthiest magnates on earth.

Satoshi is an Anonymous Billionaire

Most of the billionaires in the digital currency industry have acquired their fortunes from their Bitcoin and other cryptos holdings. Following the recent rise in crypto market prices, the wealth of many of these leaders has also climbed to a new peak, leading them to change their position within the millionaire list.

The top wealth in the crypto world tripled in a year, from 4 leaders in 2020 to a total of 12 in 2021. Twenty-year-old FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried topped the list with a net worth of      $ 8.7 billion. Coinbase co-founder and CEO Brian Armstrong count on $ 6.5 billion.

Data within the community reveals that these fortunes are just a slight drop in the sea compared to the stash of bitcoins belonging to Nakamoto. Nobody currently knows the identity of the inventor or creator group of the world’s first cryptocurrency, and previous research has suggested that the mysterious entity owns between 750,000 to 1.1 million bitcoins.

At current rates ($ 63,500), Satoshi Nakamoto would rank among the 20 wealthiest people in the world, with a net worth of $ 65.5 billion. Its little hoard of bitcoins represents 5.8% of the total active Bitcoins.

Nakamoto would rank at No. 16 on Forbes’ list of billionaires. Right between Ma Huateng, president of the Internet giant, Tencent; and the richest man in Mexico, Carlos Slim Helú, América Móvil’s owner, the largest mobile telecommunications company in Latin America.

Nakamoto Made his Money in the Early Days

Fortune places Nakamoto above media mogul Michael Bloomberg and the three living sons of the Walmart founder. Nakamoto also has a hoard that doubles the joint net worth of the 12 billionaires of the crypto environment.

Nakamoto did not make his fortune as other billionaires. His money comes from accumulating the passive income derived from the progressive rise of Bitcoin. He started gathering his treasure from mining Bitcoin in the early days when the block reward was 50 BTC, and he was the sole miner of the network.
